Arrow Triple marker screen in Down’s syndrome

A 36-year-old woman who received no prenatal care gave birth to a full-term 3200-g (7.1-lb) girl. The infant’s physical examination is notable for a flat nasal bridge, upslanting palpebral fissures, prominent epicanthal folds, and a pansystolic murmur. A karyotype is sent, and is found to be abnormal. In utero, the infant’s condition could have been predicted by which of the following results on a triple marker screen?

CHOICE MATERNAL SERUM α-FETOPROTEIN ESTRADIOL Β-HUMAN CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN
A
B
C
D
E

These Markers always confuse me

the answer is B.....

here is how i remember this one......"A reduces E" so both A(Alpha feto protein) and E(Estriol) decreases and Beta hCG increases....
IDK whether it sounds good for u guys...

The way I remember it is that take 'H' from HCG and "I" from Inhibin--Makes "HI" (for HIGH) in Down syndrome. The other two are low in Down syndrome.
