My advice is that Kaplan and First Aid is not organized enough nor oriented to teach you how to pass the exam.. both can teach u medicine.. but as we all know its far from being the way to pass CK i highly recommend you to get a hold on Conrad Fischer Book master the boards ( by kaplan ) it helped me alot!

My advise is read all kaplan lecture notes which are the main thing along with tht you need master the board 2 and 3 (all points write on your kaplan lecture notes) . See X-ray,CT scans ,EKG, and go to www.medicinenet.com see pictures as much possible . get some book of preventive medicine bcz you get alot of question from there. with all tht first start with kaplan questions online (very important) and then in the end like 1 or 2 month before your exam(wht ever u feel good) do UWorld . i m 100% sure after this u will easily pass the exam. and u know rite before exam 1 week before give UWSA . NBMEs r nt tht good but good for practice. Good luck. if u need any help anytime message me.

The key to any exam is putting in the time. Everyone has there preferences about what materials to use so I won't go into that, and there are thousands of posts about peoples opinions of the plusses and minuses or certain resources. You need to look yourself in the mirror and be the one to say ok, lets go every day and put in the time. Every person has a different thresh hold for scoring well. I am a slow learner, I need to repeat things a lot so for me I had to study almost all the waking hours of the day. My girlffriend however has a photographic memory and can see something once and remembers it for life and does not need to study as many hours and still yields a better score. Be honest with yourself about how you learn. Second thing, more important than anything do Uworld and do it again and again until you understand every word. It's not about memorizing alone, you need to understand it. Best of luck. Sleep is over rated.
