It is not that FFP is not effective for these disorders BUT it is not preferred as compared to specific factor replacement for a variety of reasons. It is much better to give specific treatment for a specific condition since it reduces chances of adverse reactions since you know that FFP contains a lot of other material (e.g. Ig, albumin, other factors etc) which are antigenic and if you can avoid giving unneeded products which can cause problems later on, the better for the patient since they are going to require therapy for the rest of their life. Also, FFP has much better use elsewhere--i.e. plasmapharesis etc.
It's like giving penicillin for strep. You can give cephalosporins etc but that would be overkill.
