in case of abruptio placenta if dic develops then what do u do next cs or ffp

You have to stabilize mother first before CS i.e. if coagulopathy is present with maternal/fetal jeopardy. You cannot do a CS with coagulopathy present.

However, if the mother & fetus are not in distress than labor can be induced after correcting coagulopathy.

The concepts in this case:

1. Correct coagulopathy first.
2. Correct the cause of DIC -Immediate delivery (Emergent CS or VD)
