Psyche Bereavement, Grief, and Depression

Can anyone help me out with this?

I thought that grief was a normal process? When a loved one dies, a person is thought normal if they are sad for anywhere from 6 months to 1 year.

Is bereavement the same thing (ie considered normal grief)? If bereavement and grief are different - what is the difference? Is bereavement normal or abnormal?

And how is it defined as depression? DSM 4 states Bereavement is if a person is depressed for 2 months or less. After that it becomes Depression?

DSM 5 is dropping down the time duration of normal bereavement from 2 months to 2 weeks?

Please help, really confused.
