Unhappy Zoning Out in Long CK Questions!

While reading some of the longer stemmed Uworld questions I zone out and have to read again. and sometimes thrice to get the whole picture. I literally go blank sometimes. Does this just happen to me or is it a common thing?
The exam is not going to be so stress-free and cant afford to zone out like that :-/ Any remedies?

it does happen to me...at those times my answer will usually be wrong...as it means the concept of this question is new or that I couldn't get the clue or I'm in attention deficiency episode.. I think this is normal in the first encounter with the questions...

That happens in the beginning of question solving; my advice is that you develop a routine to read the vignettes, for example; in my case I always read the question first and then the vignette, that became a habit and I didnt have problems during the exam. Practice will decrease the zone out you experience.

biyaa Tell me more about the highlighting thing? How do you do that?

XpaezX Thanks alot Yes targeted problem solving would help give me a direction. I shall try that in the next block

Thanks guys!
