Default asymptomatic bacteruria treatment

ASB screening and treatment with Nitrofurantoin before 30 wks in pregnant patients - MTB3

ASB screening and treatment between 12-16 weeks recommended by USPSTF-UW

so if a patient comes at say 8 wks gestation on first visit comes ,is urine culture recommended?if ASB diagnosed is to be treatment at 8 weeks or later?

am confused ,anyone clear on this point please elaborate.

ASB should be screened for around 12-16 weeks. thats true and then you treat it ASAP because it could become asymptomatic anytime. Thats all I know. But please do confirm
