Question Do I have to read master the boards 3?

Hello everyone. My question is whether you have to read MTB 3 for step 2 CK preparation. Any suggestions will be welcome.

no for entire internal medicine, but yes for deficient topics in mtb2 like dementia, dumping syndrome, empty sella syndrome ,thyroidits, thyroid cancer etc(as i have heard from many).....you can find them by searching in the forum for deficient topics......
and some say preventive medicine should be done from mtb2 and 3...

this is what i've done till now..but wait for some other takers opinion who already took the exam...goodluck

haha...ya...if time is not a problem ,that's the best option we can do....conrad fischer is very intelligent, that he shared partial information to both books leaving the students to read both of them........any how, let's try our best to master in mtb's...goodluck

Hi guys,
I have read both MTB2(int med only) & MTB3 (all sub includ Int med),MTB3 is more than sufficient ,the most important thing is not to go to exam without revising UW Q bank atleast ur marked & incorrect ones.all the best.

it depends on your primary source ,for example if u already went over the Kaplan lecture notes then it's not a must ( it will be a good luxurious adjunct ) but in case you are depending on MTB series as your main reference then adding MTB 3 for the other subjects is recommended (not a must though ,and nothing is )
best of luck
