Exam-Results April 3rd, 2013; Step 2 CK Exam Results Thread

Just got my CK score 228 .....and as promised there is no more 2 digit!!

I have been using suppression so much to forget the exam that I barely remember how it went....I was so worried since the exam because I felt it was really really hard and I have been praying so so so hard that I would PASS and alhamdulillah I am through!
Just wanted to thank the admin and other members for all their advice and help, I could not have done it without this forum! I hope we all continue to aid each other in this long and twisted process iA!

Thanks...
Well I did step 1 last July
Started studying for step 2 around mid november
did the videos with KLN for all until end of DEc
then did UWORLD
revied KLN and MTB2 MTB3 almost 3 times each.
on UWSA i got i think 211
and i did NBME 4 which is maybe 216 (suppression makin me forget it all )

did the exam on march 11
i found it tougher than i expected because i was very comfortable with the material when studying
i marked almost 10 ques in all except 2 blocks
and except for those 2 blocks i had to rush in the last 5 mins just so i would not miss any ques
so many times during the exam i thought as if i am failing for sure. but the key is to answer a ques and move on and forget about wht has just passed and keep going. when i did step 1 i didnt think the exam ordeal was so bad but this one had me freaking out
i would recommened reviewing first aid for step 1 real quick as there were some ques i felt were step 1-ish.
anyway all is well that ends well, i could not be more grateful that i passed
good luck for all those taking the test in the future!

I had 4 months right after my step 1.

1. I read KLN only once and felt so tired because it's very long and boring.
(no videos)
2. read MTB2/3 x2
3. USMLEworld + take notes in MTB
4. I really cannot throw away FA .. so I made a quick look at it once.

2 weeks before - USMLEworld Q bank 78% (untimed, random)
1 day before - UWSA 259

and yeh, I got 259 in real deal.. exactly the same number.

My computer froze while I was submitting the answers of the last block.
The proctor restarted my com and the time was over.
I was so frightened at that time and couldn't have a good sleep since then.

now it's such a relief for me.

Thank you all the information here in this forum. You rock!

I think MTB pretty much cover everything and pick up the point you should know.

In my opinion, the real exam was very difficult compared to what I did in Uworld. I think even I read all the details in all the books I had, I still couldn't answer all those questions.

Just go with your gut.
Good luck dear

also, do u think kln skippable? did u even remember what u read when u read them once before?

1. I started UW when I finished KLN, MTB 2 x1.
(I started MTB3 when I finished UW)

2. It took me 2-3 weeks to finish MTB2, but only 1 week for MTB3.
The second round of both books took me only a few days.
If you're familiar with the format, everything seems to be easy and yeh, skippable.
