Help Surgery and Peds Prep for the CK

Hi people..
I was going through MTB3 for surgery and it appears to be very small..only 30 pages..is that enough? Or should I supplement it with Kaplan..? And also for peds, where should that be done from?? Considering that I was planning to read Kaplan only for medicine and obs gyn..and have to give the exam in mid June..

Am i supposed to make written notes on MTB too? It s quite time consuming or should i just revise the educational objectives of UW at the end?

I recommend MTB2+3 + UW for all except IM. I had questions from both books and think its invaluable to read. Just my 2 cents!

I just finished IM from KLN and found it quite detailed. I started Pediatrics from KLN but I literally couldn't do more than 10 pages. Is it necessary to do KLN? Can someone please tell me what to do and not to do from KLN?
BTW I'm still a medical student and I haven't yet done surgery and OB/GYN in med school yet. So will MTB be enough for me?

Thanks for any help in advance

guys i am doing both mtb 2 and 3 for all subjects..i read kaplan for medicine but i dont remember anything..so i dont think its of any use..but i'll do kapln for obs gyn..i found the format to be good ..for others i'll listen to the lectures and add extra points in mtb.i've done this for a few topics and found this approach to be better than reading kaplan and then adding its extra points into mtb..wish i had done it earlier..
but what about psych..i am yet to read dat and i've heard people saying that psych questions are tricky in the exam..so from where should that be done..?? any suggestion..
