Question To Give or Not To Give: CK Dilemma

Hi,
I've been studying for CK for 3 months. Here's what I did in this time.
-Thorough read of Kaplan Notes (didnt watch videos)
-MTB 2 for Medicine & MTB 3 for Peads & OB/GYN

I did all of UW in blocks of 44 mixed/unused/timed only(not timed tutor) and my average was 65%. Last few blocks were all between 65-70%.

I made notes from UW of anything and everything that I didn't know in my head. By end, I had 250 pages of notes. I really put in solid hours of effort. I was confident and content that my preperation is on track, until I gave NBME 4 about 2 weeks before the exam.

I felt NBME was easy and would easily score well, but to my surprise, I got 200. I had done well in everything except OB GYN which proved to be my downfall (had low ends with a star). I sat down and did all of UW OBGYN again & did another read of Kaplan notes.

I gave UWSA today and got 230. My exam is scheduled for day after tomorrow. I am confused and don't feel as confident, even though I wouldnt mind 230 on the real deal.

I have CS lined up for 3 June. If I dont give it day after tomorrow, I will have to take 20 odd days off for CS prep and re-start CK study and give it late July. Hopefully my score would go up then? But I am not certain if that's the wisest decision I'll make. Very confused

Can you please advise?

Thanks.

well it's just my opinion

according to many old forum experts who already gave the exam ---nbme's arent predictive ..so dont compare with it......uwsa is predictive according to many
now, your target score according to your uwsa---->230+/- 5 --->225-235
if you're satisfied with that score ,go for the exam....but be confident in the exam..

goodluck

this is scary.. but then, a lot depends on your target score..if you are contemt with 230 go for it..you may score more in the actual exam who knows..but if you dont want to take any chance reschedule i would say..and give the exam after you are done with cs after taking one more nbme..

Thanks for your advice. I've decided to post pone for now. I still have time so I may as well utilize it to get a higher score. My goal was 240+. I just hope I didnt hit my peak.
