Default Acute MI and Clopidogrel

A little confused on this. Mtb 3 on pg 47 says you can give this when pt comes with Acute MI with aspirin. Is this correct? In MTB 2 it stays only give it if STEMI undergoing PCI with stenting.

yes, in STEMI who undergoing PCI stenting------definitely clopidogrel would benefit ,so it must be added...
and also in acute MI - it has survival benefit,so better to give both of them..(i think it's just not given in MTB 2)
and also in aspirin allergy ofcourse..

hope it helps
thanks
