Default What is this "New" NBME Scoring Scale?

People have been talking about a "new" scoring scale for the CK on the NBMEs. Not sure what its about.

example
"btw 214(3 digit) is 330 nbme according to new scale"

I must be looking at the old scale, cause a 214 (3 digit) is a 430 on the nbme just that is saying its from Jan 2010.

what this about?

what this about?
they recently changed scoring scale for CCSSA due to increased minimum passing score to 196 in real exam.....so 214 is now 390 (not 330)

according to old scale it was 430-----now 430 is 223

hope it helps..

goodluck

haha...nice question....idk

what i'm thinking is----it's little tough to get 500 above now....

ex--in old scale---if 43-44 mistakes--209/410 was the score
new scale----43-44 mistakes make --202/330 your score...

so i think it's precise but not accurate for sure---->because recently i read a experience who got 214 in nbme 2 wks back his exam and got 250 in real.....so dont know really
