USMLE Scores CK Score Less Important than Step 1 Score

Now a days people are not worried about their USMLE Step 2 CK score, giving more importance to Step 1 score.
Is that correct?
Please post your valuable experience and advice.

That is not true, all exams count equally

I would look at the nrmp (National Resident Matching Program) statistic reports as to what is most commonly accepted average usmle scores for each specialty.

By looking at each yearly report, you can judge what type of scores you may need

according to this data,

STEP 1 is over anything else.

a score of 250+ on step 1 almost always guarantees an interviews. so if you have score of 250+ and apply to all the programs you could, you could get over 200+ if you apply to 600 Programs. [Primary care offcourse]
but no one does that.

People with good scores, apply to 100 program and get 20+ easy. and always match.

The answer depends on your case:

1) if you are an IMG, which is expected here on UFs then all steps are important. But let me explain. Although a step 1 is more regarded, but there should be a consistency in step 2 CK (which is usually higher) the CS from first attempt. So if you get 250 in step 1 and 230 in step 2 CK, then this inferior to get 250s in both. Also, if you get 250 in both but failed the CS, then this is very risky and a big red flag

2) If you are an AMG. Then if you get 250 in step 1. Then that what matter. US students usually clear step 2 CS and CK during interviews! Moreover, their passing rate of CS is more than 95%.

Both cases are different 180 degrees.

This report is a survey by applicants themselves. Maybe I did not understand your point
