Default CMV prophylaxis in HIV

how u guys know
is it necessary to prophylax for CMV when CD4 falls below 50 and the serum CMV IgG is positive ?

No, you just treat.

If you have MTB read the first chapter of infectious disease, at the end of it it will talk about this.

First read, then ask.

im asking this question cause i found some inconsistencies between MTB and UW
and by the way why are u so rude ?
i don not ask a question on this forum without realizing that im unable to find answer somewhere in the book
