Help Want to start CK Prep

hi everybody

i just done with my step 1 and I scored not well, 215,
i want to prepare myself for CK much better than 1, could any body tell me about the best review books and videos,
right now i have kaplan led. notes 2008-9, videos, and Maste the boards 2012,
i want to know :
1-is it necessery to buy 2013 books and videos?
2-whats the differnce between high yeild videos and lecture note video and which one in better?
3-UWORLD or Kaplan Q bank?
4-is the 4 month study plan enough or neesds more?

Default My personal opinion (but see for yourself).

Hi, dooman.

1. don't buy 2013 if you have 2008-9
2. KLN videos are good. I haven't seen high yield videos.
3. I did both UW and Kaplan QBanks. My personal opinion UW is better. But would be helpful to you if you have time and money to use Kaplan QB, because the more you expose yourself to different types of Qs the more prepared you are for any surprises.
4. study plan is very individual: I saw some people who said they prepared only for 3 weeks and I also saw another people who spent 1 year and said it was not enough for them. So, the approach here is individual. But just to give you an idea: 3-4 months is enough if you study hard.
