Default Need help for CK plan

Hey everyone,

Okay, I've searched the forums, read people's experience, and have been searching around for the best way/resources for CK. So far I've come down to this plan. What I need is some kind of input if this is the correct plan to proceed.

- MTB 2 is the bare minimum that everyone uses, at least for IM.
- MTB 3 is used mainly for other disciplines
- Kaplan Lecture notes
- Kaplan videos
- Uworld

What I am planning is to:
-. First do Kaplan videos+lectures
-. Read MTB 2 and 3
-. Do Uworld, at least twice

Does this sound good enough? Also, I had a few other questions regarding this plan.

1. Can I skip Kaplan lecture notes, and just rely on MTB? Or annotate MTBs with Kaplan videos?
2. How is DIT for CK? They follow Step UP series, and I am not really familiar with it?
3. I could really not find a proper review or input for FA2CK. Any other suggestions regarding it?
4. My biggest problem with CK is trying to consolidate all the information into 1 book. Like, for Step 1, I made FA my bible for it. Should I do the same, and make MTB like the main source for it?
5. Lastly, do you recommend annotating UW notes on MTB, or make a separate notebook for it?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I dont recommend doing so, just complete them rapidly while you annotate the new info on the MTB,
Here is what I did,
rapidly (less than 1 hour) skim the chapter you want from MTB, read the chapter from Kaplan LN, watch the video, write down what is missing on MTB.
you will end up with one book to review later

2. How is DIT for CK? They follow Step UP series, and I am not really familiar with it?

I didn't use it, I used that for step 1 and it was good.

3. I could really not find a proper review or input for FA2CK. Any other suggestions regarding it?

From what I heard, it is not good, but I didn't use it myself so I can't comment.

4. My biggest problem with CK is trying to consolidate all the information into 1 book. Like, for Step 1, I made FA my bible for it. Should I do the same, and make MTB like the main source for it?

I think you can make MTB for this, but you will need epidemiology and biostat as it is not mentioned in MTB

5. Lastly, do you recommend annotating UW notes on MTB, or make a separate notebook for it?

I recommend a seperate notebook, as many Q not on MTB so it is not enough to annotate, I made 120 page of notes from UW, so separate organised notebook is better

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
Overall it is a good plan, I wish you great success, these were my thoughts, I hope they help. Good Luck
