Question How Step 2 CK Different?

So everyone who has taken the test recently has said that the test is nothing like UW or NBME etc (and trust me I believe you... I had the exact same experience with Step 1.)

I still performed at my NBME predicted level (230) on step 1 but I can assure you the test was TOTALLY different than the UWorld question...

The questions themselves weren't so different, but the way they phrased the answer choices was a million times harder. There were ZERO clear cut answers, they made you earn every question.

Can someone who has taken the test recently comment on ways in which this test is more difficult? I keep hearing the content isn't out of review books, but I find that hard to believe... People who get 260s on NBMEs still get 260s and people who get 220s still get 220s. So the smart people are still outscoring everyone else...

Step 1 is difficult than step 2.
Step 2 ck exam qs like NBME style qs I didn't find any difference in it.
But q banks are useful for learning main concepts.
So, when you master it , than take NBME test .
But remember that some qs on step 2 ck cover the topics from step 1 such some qs on physiology, immuno, micro, biost.

I already took two NBMEs;

NBME 6 2 weeks ago - 225

NBME 4 Last night - 231

I have the test in 2 weeks.

I just don't want to be caught off guard again like I was with step 1 (230.) I am hoping to get some insight as to how the question format will be. Also I think saying step 1 is easier than step 2 is subjective at best.

you either know your concepts or you dont.
if you had a tough time, you didnt know your concepts as well as you should have.
