Help timing of ck result..?

i have plans to give ck in september..am trying my best to apply this year..can somebody explain me if i give my exam on september 7(saturday) , can i get my result on september 25 ..because they say it takes 3 weeks or the score report becomes available on the THIRD wednesday right..so technically the actual time btw sept 25 and sept 7 is 18 days..can the result become available before 21 days..???? a little confused here..

I will strongly advice against applying this year. Your results will be available end of September, and you will be ecfmg certified in the 2 nd week of October. That is really late.

However if you have stellar scores,you have a GC or you are a citizen, then you might get some ivs.

thanks for replying..i have many friends who applied in october 1st week and matched..so i will try my best..atleast to some programs where i can get interviews by contacts..and does it take 2 weeks after getting all results to be ecfmg certified?? and to be ecfmg certified a criteria in all programs..what about IMG's who get ecfmg certified in november or december?? just asking out of curiosity..

haha..true dat
i think only we know whats best for us..but Gam X replied what his version of match is ..match is highly variable..look at the 'Match countdown ' thread ..
you will see a lot of people with 2-3 interviews and scores like 210 or 220 have matched..
applying carefully and performing well in the interviews is very underestimated..I knew my limitations very well and tried my best in the programs where I knew there might be some hope..I guess this helped me

In the end we all match eventually.
