Arrow Need to improve test taking skills

Hi guys, i have had a hard time with test taking, like, for as long as I remember. I'm a good student but it's not unusual for me to get wrong questions that I just knew the subject very well. I seriously don't know how to get past that. I did a pretty good prep for my step 1, was aiming for 230 and got 195 on the real deal. I did not finish UW though, only about half of it.
When I started UW, I had already covered kaplan, FA 2 times, pathoma videos and book. I was getting like 52-56% in every block. Day after day no improve. Then I would get back to books, to improve the scores, and guess what, when I was back on UW, the same 50% range. I kept going back and forth between books and qbank, and ended up spending more time with books, that's why I couldn't finish UW. I was working full time during all my preparation, took just 2 weeks off before the exam.

I am aware of the fact that I must improve my step 2 ck score, I will do anything to achieve my goal.
Please share what worked for you guys in the past, help me find a way out of this.

never do you world by subject or on tutor mode.
always mixed timed.

people complain about how they run out of time yet they always do tutor mode or system based. dont complain if you wont practice your weaknesses.

practice what youre weak in, work on it. as painful and brutal as it might be. dont take comfort in the easy way, force yourself to learn the hard way.

life's not about how hard you can hit, its about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
"inflammable means flammable!? What a country."
