I'm going with MTB personally. IMO, it seems better than fa for what is covered.

I have MTB CK but there's a lot of etiology and pathophysiology details missing. I've noticed a lot of questions require you to remember and recall the the disease itself. Would FA be helpful for that or would MTB 3 cover those missing basic science details? I took step 1 a long time ago and I am not sure if it is a good effort of time to review that stuff all over again. Can anyone give input on any books/review material that would have that presented better? I am on limited funds so my options are on used books and a subscription to UW.

I think MTB is better.

I'm thinking of using both now, as one member said. Look at the tables/pictures on FA CK and use MTB CK as a guide and nothing more.
