USMLE Books Which Question book is most up to date to study along with UW?

Hi everyone! I saw visited this poll :

http://www.usmle-forums.com/usmle-st...ons-books.html

and I see that these are the 3 highest voted books : in order >

Kaplan Qbook > First aid Q&A > Lange Q & A

Lange was published in 2008, FA Q & A 2008/9 & Kaplan Qbook : 2010

I really wanted to avoid kaplan qbank and but I wanted something to read that wouldn't make me stare at the computer screen non-stop, and UW is doing a good enough job with that. There were some comments from members here that usmlerx had errors also> I wonder how noticeable they are?

I haven't examined these above sources yet to see how well they align with UW theory (not comparing quality of explanations) but basically I don't want to find too many discrepancies between answers/steps/management.

That Poll Thread has been there for a long time.

There was another poll topic on online vs offline books, I see that, but again my question was related to shared experience from the books. Thank you for the input!
