@lestofan
Is normal to feel like you did bad. Is normal to feel like you answered wrong every single question. I feel like that now one week after doing step 2CK.
My solace is that I felt like that after Step 1 and in the end the result made me happy.
So, just so you know, you are not alone.

The single study source that helped the best for the exam: UWorld
First study MTB 2 / 3, maybe KLN, FA, Step 2 secrets, etc.
Then UWorld set at timed, unused and random, both for studying and for training stamina.
Remember the exam is hard and most questions depict vague but common scenarios to solve in about 1 minute, so your instincts too will be put to the test.

Thank you for the reply, I agree after I gave my step 1 I felt like I answered everything wrong. I was relived after getting my score.

Generally I am following the plan that you outlined, but I am adding Kaplan Qbank to it... do you think that Kaplan Qbank is worth it time wise?

Some doctors who did it recommend against it, but I wish I did it. I just purchased one year step 3 qbank, it was cheap compared to uworld for step 2 I guess, not that i'm confident of my coming results for both step 2 exams.
The more questions you do the better

The only thing i found useful for step 2 was usmle world qbank. Specially medicine. Make sure you read the explanations thoroughly. Now I am not saying to skip Kaplan lecture notes completely,but after my exam i dont find 'em as something you should spend alot of time on.

Default I agree!

Hi Lestofan,

i absolutely agree with you. I also felt awful after 2ck. I went in feeling very well prepared, and I went out feeling defeated. But my end result was Ok. It was not as I expected but was not as bad as thought it would be.

Since there's nothing you can do now, just forget it and focus on the things that you should do. Cheer up! Give yourself credit for your effort and for being able to finish the exam.

My 2 cents for those preparing for 2CK, do NOT underestimate 2ck. in my opinion, it is more difficult than step 1. I had 15 mins left in every block on step 1. I barely had 5 minutes left on 2CK. It's doable, but not one you want to take lightly.
