Help I need your advice

Hey guys. I just took NBME 2 online and got a 233. I felt I was getting a lot of questions wrong during the exam and having to guess on a few questions. My test is next week but I have only done uworld once now and read MTB 2 twice. I have also read surgery from MTB 3 once, but I haven't gotten a chance to read the Peds and OBGYN sections. I have spent most of my time doing uworld questions and going over them. I was planning on either taking the exam next week and applying for this year's match in mid October (when my step 2 ck scores come back) or postponing my exam and applying next year. What do you guys think I should do at this point? I have listed my stats below:

US citizen
Step 1: 230 (1)
Step 2 CS: Pass (1)
YOG: 2014

I will be applying to both IM and FM.

Thumbs Up

Do UWSA! Go for it, take CK and apply this year. I would advice not to have second thoughts on taking CK if you are happy with UWSA score. Good Luck!

Well, that's how the real exam feels. Just try to enjoy the experience because any bad thoughts can hamper your final score

Thanks guys. Your input is very much appreciated. I will be deciding today on whether or not I'm going to be taking it next week and applying for this match season. More than likely I will be postponing it because I feel that by applying one month late I will be excluded from many residency programs. This is all just speculation though and I don't want to discourage anyone from applying. I just strongly prefer to do a residency in my home state and I don't want to take that risk of not matching where most of my family and friends are. Also, I still have another 6 months of rotations to do before I graduate in 2014 so I don't think there will be much of a gap in my CV. Please let me know what you guys think of my decision, regardless of whether you agree or disagree.
