Question Please advise exam in 5 days!!!

Hello everyone! I could badly use some advise. Please let me know if I should go sit into the exam after looking at my practice scores.

Nbme 3: 183 (5 months out)
Nbme 2: 198 (4 months out)
Nbme 6: 210 (3 months out)
UWSA: 234 (1 month out)
Nbme 4: 207 (2 days ago) - Not sure What happened.

Sources used: MTB 2 & 3 and Uworld

Exam date: November 30th.
Do you guys think I should go in and take the exam? I am just looking to pass this exam and move on. If you guys please help me out that would be great.
Thanks!

Scored 206 in NBME 1

There is another thread posted in this thread. Hard to give any advices.. But with uwsa 230 you must be. Ready for scores like 210, or hopefully upper.. Hard to tell.

I went over Nbme 4 and realized that I made few silly mistakes, but that should be taken into account on the real deal as well. This is quite confusing. Not sure what to do at this point, since I feel like I've done everything.

May be you should do some more assessment to see your readiness….did you try free usmle FRED… ??try and make sure you are above 80% mark in that. …that may help you in case you are planning to go ahead with your exam.
Good luck !!

If,like you said, you just want to pass and move on, then I'll say go ahead and take the exam. The scores you have posted suggest that you most likely will pass the exam but it may not be a high pass. However, if you are looking to score 230 and above, I'll suggest postponing the exam and brushing up on your weak areas a bit more, maybe watch some Kaplan videos/KLN or do another Qbank.

This is just my honest opinion. All the best!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I guess I am just nervous about failing more than barely passing. I only have the FRED 150qs left to assess myself, but I thought it's nothing like the real exam. Hence, I would still be confused? BTW when's the latest I can cancel the exam?

im not sure but i think its about 24 hours before. but if you want to just pass then its also risky, because to pass aint easy on steps. you can always extend your eligibility. remember the mark stays but the cancellation never shows. btw what did you think about nbme 6? im going to take it in 2 weeks

Hey thanks! I have decided to apply for extension and perhaps spend another 2 weeks to review everything. In terms of Nbme 6, I don't specifically recall its difficulty level. But in all honesty, I do believe Nbme 4 & 6 are very doable. Majority of the information is in MTB 2 & 3 and uworld. If you know these sources well, then it shouldn't be a problem with scoring 220 or above. This was my biggest mistake, I read forums where people were writing that nbme 4 has a really bad curve, etc. I beg to differ. The majority of questions they asked can be found in the sources stated above. I panicked and made this practice exam to be more difficult then it was. I say have confident and if you know your stuff from those sources, then you should be fine!
