Experiences Vaheh's CK Experience

Where to begin...it was as difficult as people say. Questions weren't all that long, sure some were like 9-10 lines but there were some that were only 4-5. Had around 5-10 minutes at the end of each block (but I am a native english speaker so keep that in mind). 2 drug ads with 2 questions each (similar to uworlds), and 2 clinical trial with 3 qs each (not similar to uworld).
65-70% of the questions were stuff from the review books, the rest were from God knows where.

I used MTB CK, MTB-3, Kaplan 2011 LN, very little First Aid (2007 edition so I didn't spend too much time on it) Uworld twice, pretest medicine, half the DIT lectures, Kaplan online qbank, Kaplan qbook 2009, Kaplan 2009 lectures & the offline NBMEs. Oh and these forums ( I have literally gone through every thread in the CK forum)

Kaplan simulated exams 2-3 months before 264, 271
UWSA 253 ( 3 weeks before)
NBME 6 265 ( 10 days before)
Actual exam...

Keep studying boys and girls and happy holidays!!

So simple and helpful, thanks. I am anticipating that questions length will be same like uworld. Lot of people have told that already, so it should wait around 10 drug adds qs. But if they will somehow look like uworld , that's fine.
Thanks.

I started around August. DIT lectures I listened to on my ipod while walking, running.Nothing in there thats not in the other books but I like to change it up and not always listen/read the same book. So it helped a bit. Not enough by itself though.
