Hi..
I have started my step 2 ck preparation with IM..i have already read kaplan LN for IM many times so this time i m reading it from mtb 2 and writedown extra points in mtb 2 from kaplan..i m thinking to focus mainly on mtb 2 and 3 instead of kaplan..after finishing mtb 1x then i will start uworld along side keep revision mtb...
Anyone out there who have started preparation just now are welcome to discuss about study plan,,study material to motivate ourselves..

Star

I just started studying for CK, I have a conclusion from my peers that mtb2 and 3 are just enough to score above 230 and to finish preparation in 3-4 months.
I read kaplan for step 1 and because of that It took me too long to finish them, mtb2 and 3 and uworld would be more than enough to master this test.

I am starting today and hopefully I can finish preparation in 3 months.

let me know if you have different perspective.

Hi there,

I am planning to start studying too in a week or so, and still deciding if I should get Kaplan LN or not. What edition of Kaplan LN did you get? I already have MTB2.
And I was wondering if there is a big difference btw Kaplan LN 2012-2013 edition and the latest one... other than the money of course....

Thanks for any input and good luck studying.
