y not we can give metformin in this pt? in qtn it is mentioned that pt is obese, and metformin enhances ovulation

Although metformin is used in PCOS it's primary use is for managing insulin resistance, despite it having an effect on ovulation stimulation.
The question asks which is best for OVULATION STIMULATION, for which clomiphene citrate is the best answer.
