I used the same strategy for all steps, so I hope this helps.

Some strategies that worked for me are
1 read the last line of the question first -> it helped me to focus on what I need to look for as I read the question and so I think this may have shaved off some time
2 I took a short "mini-break" during the block of questions to refocus my mind. This became more important later on during the exam day, when my mind was becoming fatigued and slower.
3 if I had no idea about an answer, I answered the best I could or guessed, flagged the question on the computer and moved on. I tried not to waste excessive time on a question I had no idea about. If I had time at the end I would come back to it.

Hmm.. do you have any thought about what the issue is for you? I wonder if it's just speed of reading, or comprehension, or strategy problems or just taking too much time trying to figure out the right answer.

The only thing I can think of is to really be disciplined about how you allocate time to each question. It's hard for me to comment on exactly how to help you on a forum (as obviously I don't know you well!) but I wonder if a good strategy might be to focus on doing, say, 10 or 20 questions at a time for now. Try to get very used to the pace and be very strict about timing.

I hope that helps!
