Default Endometrial neoplasia

In kaplan it ia written that endometrial neplasia is due to hyperstimulation of endometrium due to unoppsed estrogen and MEAN AGE IS 61...
so at age of 61 the level of estrogen should be veey low not high...

there is peripheral aromatization of sex steroids into estrogen and its action is unopposed due to lack of progesterone (menopause)

plus possible in question they talk about obese women.and we know that adipose tissue make peripheral estrogen which also can cause endometrial carcinoma ..

Its not the peak levels but the total duration of exposure to unopposed estrogen that increases chances of neoplasia
