Listening No progress in Kaplan Qbank Average Percentage!

I end my first reading for Kaplan lecture notes for 2 CK and I started solving Kaplan CK Qbank by subjects eg internal medicine cardiology (timed block ) I solve all the questions then I return to my Kaplan lecture notes but but I'm not progressing because I always get score 61% also the same for nephrology etc..

So am I using the wrong way in reading and how I can increase my score or should I use untimed blocks and after any question I return to my Kaplan lecture notes?

Wink Nothing wrong with you

No you are not doing anything wrong.

Your score is not bad either.

keep doing subject-wise until you feel that you are in control of all of Kaplan books and then start doing random blocks.

Your score will go up but it needs time, like another 2 months.

I finished Kaplan QBank with overall percentage of 69% but the last blocks were mostly above 70%. But I heard that they made the bank more difficult recently so maybe 65% is enough to get 99.

I got 234/99 in the CK,

I read Kaplan Notes, did Kaplan Qbank and USMLE World.

I was reading 6-12 hours per day. The last three weeks I was reading 16 hours per day.

Good luck

there should be a score estimator in your subscription about your percentage of correct answers. That would be accurate in determining your approx step2ck score.

Hi!

The most effective way to increase your score is to determine weaker topics that are causing many of your test errors. Review sources to refresh your recall of those topics and make notes you can read as your exam date approaches. Once you finish remediating problem topics, resume another cycle of self-testing-identifying topics-remediating.

Also, we recommend that as you study subjects, include them all in your Qbank tests. This will prepare you more quickly to the format of the actual exam. Do timed blocks with random, mixed, unused questions.

Good luck!
