Default usmle step 2 ck exam experience

exam date was 20 feb.
TOTAL PREP TIME 7 MONTHS.but months i studied i would say 5 months.
material i used
KAPLAN 1 read.took at least 4 months along with u world.waste of time i would say.especially never read kaplan pediatrics.i was studying it in ramzan and this one book took me a month.i would recommend gyne obs from kaplan.and surgury kaplan mcq at the end of book.
mtb2 and mtb3 :read them together and try to add in to mtb2.if you don't want to add then write page number of mtb3 on mtb2.i read mtb2 two to three times and mtb3 once.
u WORLD IS THE MAIN SOURCE FOR EXAM.I DID IT TWO TIMES.MAKING NOTES IS MUST. I KNOW ITS HARD BUT IT IS FRUITFUL.DO AT LEAST TWO TIMES.
EXAM DAY :
IT WAS TOUGH RIDE MY FRIENDS.THERE WAS AT LEAST 20 TO 25 PERCENT OF EXAM NOT FROM THE MATERIAL I USED.I TOOK DIAZEPAM PILL BUT ONLY QUARTER OF IT BUT IT DID NOT MAKE ME SLEEP SO I WOKE UP AGAIN AND TOOK OTHER HALF AND FALLEN SLEEP BUT AGAIN WOKE UP SO IN SHORT I DID NOT HAVE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP AND IT DID AFFECTED MY PERFORMANCE.IT WAS STUPID THAT I DID that.
Don't be scared if you come out of exam think you gonna fail.if you have studied you will get what you deserve.this exam is way tougher than step 1 but trust me it is tough for everyone so score curve is friendly.
nbme 2 247
nbme 4 248 (2 WEEKS BEFORE)
REAL EXAM 240.DID SO MANY STUPID AND SILLY MISTAKES.GUYS GET A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP.
DO U WORLD AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.TRY TO FOCUS MORE ON PREVENTIVE MEDICINE,PSYCHIATRY,SAFETY SCIENCE e.g disease prophylaxis, prevention of infections.

Interesting that you highlight psychiatry! I AGREE to that. On uworld and kaplan qbank I felt that psych was the easiest of all and I thought psych qs on exam will be like a short break.

Boy was I wrong. Psych qs on my exam was one of the difficult ones. It wasn't as obvious as in qbanks. So do study it well. On my result psych was one of the weaker results.

Btw, congrats on passing CK!!

Well I would suggest that solving McQ is best.scenerio are vague and long.reading books does not reinforce knowledge but solving question does.u world explanation are best and practice McQ from other resources whatever you have.
