I only had 4 abstracts/add but my exam was quite tough. Ended feeling like i made a complete mess. Hope to land on 230s. Finger crossed!

Hey man! NEVER lose hope! You passed and It is the most important thing. Look at the matching forum, this year many people matched with low 2ck score. It is much more important step 1 score, that is really what pd filter for interview. Try to study hard for cs and try to get a 230+ step 3 to crush your cv! That could be enough for getting more than 1 iv in fm, ped, and im!
Again, never lose hope. Step score is just a number.

My experience is not very helpful because I am a resident in west europe and i did not have so much time to study. I just studied 2-3 hr/day in the evening for 2 months. Used only UW, MTB2 (IM), and MTB3. I was still quite fresh from step 1 about pharma, statistics, and ethics.
I think UW+MTB are enough to stay into 240s.

I try to take UW as a learning tool, but still i get scared when ppl really stress upon cumulative uw percentage... can u shed some light on it, and also, how did u find the exam?? ur experience will be helpful for sure..

UW unused, timed 68%. I used uw to understand how qsts are structured. There are a lot of "next step, best diagnosis, gold standard..", you have to be very preperad to quickly understand what they really are asking you. Qsts are quite long. Learn to well manage your time.

no, the scheduling permit didn't disappear
honestly I didn't feel well after the exam
it was too hard and the questions were too long , much longer than those of usmle world.
I scored 228 in step 1 but I expect a much lower score in this exam.

Awesome dude

From 204 on nbme to 239!!!!!'n

Please post a detailed experience as I am in the same boat with the nbme scores

Many congratulations
I didn't do anything special , I studied from master the board 2 &3.
I did usmle world qbank for three months ( because I was busy I was doing only one exam every 2 days)
I was studying 3 -4 hours a day on and off.
Honestly the score was a big surprise for me.
I read to other usmlers saying that nbme scores predict what score you will get in real exam but that don't work for me in either steps.
in step 1 nbme score was 219 and I scored 228
and in step 2 ck nbme was 214 & 204 and I scored 239
