Default Is it possible to get in 250s in CK after a 212 on Step 1?

Hi, Is it possible to get in 250s in CK after a 212 on Step 1? Considering the part that I scored 246 on NBME for step 1 but freaked out on the day of my exam, visiting a psychiatrist for the new-found anxiety disorder. So do I have any chances to score like a 250s on CK?

Guess noone wants to talk to the low scorers.

Anyway
So, which match are you aiming for?
And what cover-ups do you have on your cv?

For sure it is possible, you need to focus on your step 1 preparation mistakes and then try to make a study plan without those mistakes.

I guess it is not easy but for SURE it is possible.

Yes sure. I gave myself one week to come out of the shock, still not completely out of it. I planned to apply this year for the match. But I'm not sure about it anymore since only less than 4 months left, and i don't wanna screw up my ck.
These days I'm working on a good study plan. By tomorrow I think I'll be done, will definitely share.
If in case, I plan to give the exam in-time to apply for the match this year, then, I know that I'll have to study 8-9 hours/day and a lot of practice on the questions.

I am aiming for match of 2015 but I am also aiming to do CK by end of june for many reasons..

what do you mean by cover ups?

I think it's a great idea to gather here and make a solid plan. here's what i've done so far:
I gone through IM once: KLN, MTB2 and some videos
gone through surgery once: KLN, MTB3 (looked at MTB2 for trauma and general with MTB3).
OB/Gyn: videos, KLN, MTB3
currently revising surgery.
then i'll revise endocrinology section from IM
then I'll start peds: KLN+ MTB3. I might add videos and KLN qbank
then i'll still have epidemiology, phsych. and statistics. plan on that not clear yet: might do epidemiology and statistics from step1, psych i might add videos along with step 1 materials.

after that i'd start questions from UW

main issue: confidence and motivation..

good luck to us all

Sorry to reply this late.
Sources: MTB 2 and 3, kaplans for all the subjects.

My plan so far:
Kaplan IM, MTB 2, Kaplan Qbank IM - 25days
Kaplan rest of the subjects + biostats and psychi + MTB3 - 35days
Second read MTB 2 and 3 - 10-12 days

Uworld 48 blocks - 24 days

Another read of the MTBs and then the exam!

And yes, I plan to do Kaplan Qbank for IM only.

Good Luck!

For Psych - I plan to read Kaplan Psych, since I did it during my med school psych rotation and I'm well oriented with it, and then MTB 2.

Ethics: MTB 2

Biostats: I'm not sure about this yet. Will revise from step 1 (FA) and then will see how the questions are.

I will see how my preparation is by July, if I think I'm well prepared, I'll go for Match 2015, otherwise 2016. Don't wanna take any more risks. For now, my target date for CK is July 24th 2014.

To get ECFMG Certified for the Match 2015, you should get done with all the exams by July 31st, that is, to be on the safe side.
