From my understanding, zoster opthalmic is just zoster along the distribution of craneal nerve v1

So it must have vesicles and burning pain along that distribution, just like any other zoster

Herpec keratitis is an entirely different disease, the eye is painful, usually red and its seen mostly in immunocompromised. At the examination you may find small vesicles in they cornea and characteristic dendritic ulcers.

It is important to know that its almost always PAINFUL. UNLIKE CMV RETINITIS, which is normally painless.
