ObGyn Non-palpable ovary

I came across a test questions with a healthy 60 year old woman, non-obese, 63 inches talk, with atrophic external genitalia and small uterus, with one ovary 3x3 cm and the other non-palpable.

Do y'all have thoughts as to what condition she suffers from?

I found the following from another forum: Normally, on physical examination, the ovaries are 2-3 cm in young women and not palpable in postmenopausal women.

So it must be that US needs to be done out of concern for cancer...

I think its implying nothing else needs to be done, she is postmenaupasal so she is expected to have atrophic vagina, small ovaries, because of lack of estrogen. If she is symptomatic, with itchy vagina resulting from atrophic vagina she can be given estrogen cream.
