Correct Answer You're doing great

Hey mate, you may check this link http://usmle-score-correlation.blogspot.com/ I wouldn't say it's 100% accurate but again, it's an estimate you should strive to hit the 70% because having that average prior to the test would mean you will probably hit the 99 on the actualt test. You have a lot of time just focus and do your best. Good luck

I would suggest not to do tutored mode, because in some blocks a theme is repeated, thus if you know the answer from a previous question that doesn't reflect your actual score.

Have you finished kaplan?

Have you seen any videos?

Default kaplan?

hi
i thought about doing kaplan questions but in my med school ppl only do uworld and most of them are doing fine and matching . however i think it would be a good idea to do kaplan but i stopped work for 3 months now and im a bit reluctant about spending what i saved for unecessary stuff and im trying to be independant ( ask less my parents heheh just to see how i can thrive) , however u think i should do kaplan timed mixed? maybe after i finish uworld/ what about the videos ? what are they?
btw im doing first aid only , and its really good (but in last yr med school i read more then my peers so i have kind of a background).
thanks for any suggestions , but does it matter if i should mix them and do them time? for the meantime this freaks me out

FIRST AID--> Wrong.

Kaplan notes for step2CK-->

UW random timed-->

UW tutor-->

You might have a great background however this test is difficult on it's own. You should study FOR the test, don't rely only in your background! From your 61% on UW you are obviously missing some points that the FA cannot fill!

With UW you will be fine, do Kaplan QBank if you have time

Default Thanks

Thanks f or the advice

i will do kaplan bank next month

cheers
ps : i have kaplan books and read peds in med school and now im using surgery only since fa doesnt have surgery . . . but can they be morre dry ?
id rather sometimes go on facebook or watch tv rather read a kaplan book ! sooooo boring
ps : FA 7th edition made me score high on some subjects but i agree the things im missing are the things not mentioned in FA and its not related to intelligence or lack of study thats why im making huge notes from uworld that im gonna memorize in my second revision . ..
thanks again

Default Greetings

dear miss patho
First of all 23 may is far . When giving an advice to ppl I am usually reluctant about it since each of us has a different lifestyle , memory capacity , and background from medical school . However , I'll be gld to input my strategy which might work with some while others might find it time consuming . I am using fa as core book , with mb and Kaplan series in areas that are missed in fa. I memorize each part , solve world and take notes . Usually each block tutor takes around 3 hours , with notes taking . I found out , master the material then solve . everytime I finish one chapter I solve 1 block or 2 related . at this point I want to master the material . Probably I'm gonna do world random timed or Kaplan after finishing. Good luck ps : believing is achieving. believe in yourself , u can ace it.
