Default Mx of epidural hematoma

does it always by emergency craniotomy as MTB 3 mention , while in emergency in MTB 2 it says that it can be treated also conservatively ?

up again since i got no reply ,
in surgery, MTB 3 it says that for epidural hematoma , we immediately do crainiotomy and that is what i know ,
in Er , Mtb 2 it says , you have to depend on sign and symptoms , so that is confusing , it says that only the ones causing herniation will be drained ??

can any one help me in that
