Default I feel like sh*t!

There are just 4 months to go. I started preparing for ck but my mind is wandering all over places making it difficult to retain all the information. I want to apply this year, but do not have any USCE( i have one for oct though), any LOR, no CK score but I have a GC. I am confused. I probably have a 15% chance of applying and getting through, but at the back of my mind I just feel like sh*t. Cos i know its difficult to get done with CK in 4 months, especially with a gap of 2 yrs after step1, no USCE, graduation year 2012 DEC and a constant anxiety/fear that what if things get difficult next year. I am just sad and I don't know what to do! What should I do?

You are drowning yourself in a glass with water! You are in a good schedule! Get yourself at couple SP's online or live. If you don't work, take advantage of SP's around the world to read and discuss questions, and find a place to help you study. Coffee shop or library or home and focus at least a couple of hours! Start a qbank to get you into it, either kaplan or UW but UW should the main one for CK.

You have plenty of time! Relax! go for a walk, gym or bar and get the anxiety out! You will do well!

Thank you! I appreciate your piece of advice. I am in a library right now doing uworld. I think I just need to focus all my attention towards studying rather think about other stuff. I feel my profile sucks when compared to the rest as I don't have any USCE( considering how important it is these days!). But i guess CK is more imp right now. Anyways Thanks again, I guess I should shut up and start studying.

A lot of anger can build up studying for this exam. I suggest to shout on a pillow when no body is at home. Other alternative is to ride a roller coaster or watch 7D horror movie. That did work for me.

That is a good way to get it out too! This exam for IMG's is very stressful! It can cause havoc emotionally and mentally but is about finding a way to focus again like you did in medical school and you had finals.

You don't neet to stay quiet, come here and vent or exercise intensely on some days. It will help you! Take care!
