How do I use my time resourcefully when I don't feel like doing u-world or studying at all?

I think we all experience this feeling during our prep! There are a few things that were helpful for me:
1. keep being in community with other test-takers. I think this forum is great. There's also another website called where you can create an online "journal" to track your progess and have others comment and motivate you (sorry usmle-forums for redirect to another site.) You can also read other people's progress and comment, which helped to motivate me also. This journaling process was very helpful for me!

2. refocus on your goal. For me, this meant thinking about the program I wanted to match to, what score I needed to get there, and so forth. This may be helpful for you too.

3. watch some motivational videos, like this one (links to a USMLE motivational video on my site).

4. take a break and do something fun! Keep being physically active and eat well. I wrote more about balance between study and living life here.

5. do you study at the library? I found that going out and studying at a place outside of my home where there were many others studying was helpful to motivate me.

All the best with your prep.
