Default asking about best materials for step 2 ck

which is better yale-G's clinical review or first aid for step 2 ck to study beside mtb 2 and mtb three ?

is it useful to go through kaplan q banks or just i can only stick to usworld and nbme

I didn't use yale-G's or FA, but I heard FA isn't bad. I used step up a little bit, but it lacks a lot of information. I think MTBs are enough, but it depends on your starting clinical knowledge. If your preparation is good already, I wouldn't bother. If your preparation is lacking, than I would use other sources, maybe just to improve specific areas.
I personally found the KLNs terrible, but to be honest with you I don't know what else to suggest as an alternative. Probably the Harrison would be good.
In conclusion, I would say use MTBs 2 & 3 (I also had MTB for IM, but it doesn't add much to the others) + UW. If you need to improve specific areas use something else more detailed as well - like KLNs/Harrison.

Regarding the Qbank: UW is awesome as usual. Personally I didn't like kaplan, because is very detail-oriented instead of concept-oriented, and I feel it didn't help me much. I would stick to UW.
