Default step 2 ck elective

I haven't cleared any of the steps as of yet but am planning to do step 2 ck first. .is there a chance I can get into electives for clinical experience based upon my step 2 scores even if I don't clear step 1? Or are step 1 scores mandatory ?

hi

There is no mandatory sequence to take step 1, step 2 Ck and step 2 CS. you can take them in any order you want..

yeah thanks pacemaker but i think you missed my point...my question is : do the Univerities accept IMGs for student electives(not residency matching) based on step 2 ck scores? Because everywhere i look they're talking about step 1 scores...
