Question Duration of treatment of secondary syphilis

here is a confusing issue i faced while reading about the topic
that
Kaplan notes: duration of treatment of 2ndary stage syphilis by B.Penicillin is just once (same as 1st stage) ..... while that of late latent stage is for 3 doses (one per week for 3 weeks)

kaplan videos: duration of treatment of
2ndary stage syphilis by B.Penicillin ... for 3 doses that is one per week

ANYONE CAN HELP with that PLZ

THX

Arrow Here's what the CDS says

Primary and Secondary Syphilis:
Benzathine penicillin G 2.4 million units IM in a single dose

Early Latent Syphilis

Benzathine penicillin G
2.4 million units IM in a single dose

Late Latent Syphilis or Latent Syphilis of Unknown Duration

Benzathine penicillin G 7.2 million units total, administered as 3 doses of 2.4 million units IM each at 1-week intervals

Reference:
CDC (updated 2010), link http://www.cdc.gov/std/treatment/201...s.htm#syphilis

Note that these guidelines are for adults. There are other special situations in which the treatment must be modified such as those: HIV positive, pregnant women, penicillin allergic, children, ..etc you can refer to the link above for detailed info.

thx
the issue here is NOT the dose BUT is ! duration of ttt of different stages,..
the buzzled issue was in 2ny early ....vs.... latent stage duration of ttt
and about CK exams.... videoes insist on that doses r not imp. nor the generic names of drugs
however about 7.2 it is just 3 doses of 2.4 (2.4 *3=7.2.......it is a mathematical issue
