Default Need advice

Hello friends!

I need your advice. I watched Kaplan Videos. I read Kaplan lecture notes and MTB 2. I finished UW. I just took NBME 3 and got a horrible score of 200 converted to 175. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Can anyone give advice how to improve my score? I'm having trouble with questions that ask for "the next best management". Any suggestions on how to improve. Thank you!!!

Best of luck to all of you!!

Default hi

hey, i think if you work on your answering techniques then things would definitely get better. before you look at the answer choices have a diagnosis/next step/common organism in mind only then move on to the answer choices. if you dont have an answer before you read the choices then reading the choices will make things confusing to you.

Thank you for your advice! I think my problem is really trying to answer the question. I know the knowledge is there. I just have difficulty with questions that ask "what is the next best management?" I seem to get those wrong a lot.

Kaplan is not bad its just nowhere near as good as uworld IMHO and its a lot harder since the questions are longer and the concepts seem lower yield than uworld.

If you think your problem is not conceptual (you have the knowledge but just don't know how to apply it), then yeah do Kaplan

Prepare to be punished
