Default Endocrine Question

For a postmenopausal woman with hypercalcemia and concurrent osteoporosis what is the best treatment?

1)bisphosphonates+calcium+vitamin D
or
2)calcitonin+calcium+vitamin D

bisphosphonates+calcium+vitamin D - according to MTB 2

Would you still use bisphosphonates even if it is not hypercalcemia of malignancy?

yes we do
calcitonin is for acute tx-in first 24h which should be followed by bisphosphonates

and if surgery is indicated u do the surgery
