GIT esophageal cancer

A 67-year-old man presents with difficulty in swallowing solids and liquids. A barium swallow reveals narrowing of the middle third of the oesophagus, a histological report of the biopsy shows the presence of malignant cells.
Which one of the following is the most likely type of cancer?

A. Transitional cell carcinoma
B. Mucinous cell carcinom
