Arrow My Step2 drama..

OK guys I screwed up my step 1 big time i didn't take the advice of some of the forum members and I took my step 1 when I wasn't prepared enough and I ended up passing with a crap score.

I am too ashamed to tell my score but suffice it to say I might as well have failed, anyway I did my CS the other week and am now onto my CK where I have to really get a good score to overcome that step 1 deficiency.

So here's my game plan

1) I am watching the Kaplan vids topic wise
2) At the same time I am going to read the topic from the Kaplan notes
3) Also while watching vids I will be adding notes to my Master the boards-2 (like those slides that they show and other important info)
4) Once I finish a topic I will then go do that topics questions in uworld (I plan to use uworld to test my knowledge subject wise to tell me how well I know that subject and then fix my mistakes)
5) mistakes will be rectified and notes added to either my MTB book or my notebook divided into sections if there's no room in my MTB

So that's my study plan its gonna be taking me a long time to get done with my first read but if i do it correctly i feel that this first read (which is actually 3 reads + questions in one) will be enough Afterwords im just going to be doing questions finish up and review uworld and then maybe do Kaplan qbank

As a study plan how does it sound to the gurus?
Also anyone follow a similar plan ? if yes how long did it take u to finish cuz my dream is to get this thing done by august i feel its possible but will be hard so need input on that.

Also since im a all around lazy bastard i tend to procrastinate so im going to try to shame myself into working by posting up my daily work in this thread for all the world to see

Todays work so far
1) preventive medicine scanned the vids and skipped over them no real use they are simple and a waste of time studied the chapter in kaplan notes then MTB did uworld questions (theres only 26 preventive medicine questions) got a 78% wrote all relavant info into MTB

2) Started endocrinology so far have done the vids for pituitary ( ant + post) just finished thyroid ( damn those videos are long but i play them at 1.5x speed so they go a little faster). Also after every video i did the relavant topics from my kaplan notes and also added notes to MTB from the videos ( MTB didnt have much on thyroid so i had to add alot of notes to it).

i still have 2 hours to go so my plan is to atleast finish parathyroid vids + notes+MTB and then call it a day tommorow i plan on doing the rest of endocrine and finish up the questions from uworld.

Comments , encouraging words (and disparaging words when i slack off cuz i know i will its just in my nature ) are always welcome

Default Do Kaplan Qbank and USMLE World

Your plan looking good, just make sure to do both UW and Kaplan Qbank, one of them is not enough if you want a good score this time.

@chessmatic thanks for the reply and i will be doing kaplan qbank after i finish my uworld and studies but il be using more as a testig tool than a learning tool ( atleast thts the plan)

Anyway day 2 to round off yesterday i was able to watch the parathyroid vid + annotate my MTB but not able to read from the kaplan notes so will be doing that today.

I was up at 8:10 and i reached the library 5 minutes ago ( thats my first deficiancy i need to get here sooner by not wasting as much time in my morning routine).

Todays to do list
1)read parathyroid in notes
2) DM vid + notes
3) Adrenal VId + notes
4) hypogonadism vid + notes
5) ENDO UWORLD questions
6) review mistakes
I think this is a full days work so will see where i stand at the end of the day.
