Default help. CK prep in 3 and a half months!

hey super awesome people here at this forum.. can anyone guide me about the CK prep plz. I want to score atleast a 250+ but i have just 3 and a half months. many people told me its doable.
Q 1: Is it a good idea to completely skip Kaplan books?
Q2: will that be a good idea if i give kaplan a read without VIDEOS?

any response will be highly appreciated!

Basically u can skip all the videos except ObGyn IMO there very good and he explains perfectly. I had NO knowledge of OBGyn before this exam! And kaplan book itself is good for it also
Others I ONLY watched Fichers videos for Cardio and that's only cuz I like way he explains. That's all.
IMO u don't have to watch any videos except for ObGyn!
Read kaplan once or twice. Do UWUWUW and more UW MTB 2/3 for quick review. And make your own flash cards with things u think is important!!!

ok thanks a lot for ur help. Considering my schedule is set for 3 and a half months at the max, and i don't want to compromise my scores either, kaplan series twice will take atleast 1 and a half month. Is it safe to skip kaplan and still score 250+ ?
secondly, as far as i know MTB2 is for I med and the rest of the subjects should be covered by MTB 3? is that correct?

I gonna be honest with you. Mtbs are quick review books they are helpful if you have done US rotations. if you have n't then 250+ with just MTBs is probably not possible. let see if MTB talks can answer the following question
ST elevation in lead II,III,aVF signifies which part of the heart infarction? and which coronary artery supply that area?

Okay thanks a lot for your opinion zara, appreciate it.. I'll be giving Kaplan surgery and Ob/Gyn a chance for sure.
(As for the Question you mentioned, I haven't checked MTB for that but knew the answer because of my I med rotation).

a guy i know ' stepp-1 248 , ; he did Kaplan Qbank then MTBs, UW n Took exam got 263 ( 3 month prep)

another guy from greece i know personaly,..met him
he step-1 233, he did kaplan IM then MTB 2& 3 , UW UW n his nbme was 255 he took exam...a week ago ( 3 month prep)
he told me Bro don't do kaplan notes in the end you wont remmber all that detail but....

i have 238 step-1, took cs then now started CK prep
i did MTb only, started UW.. doing 61% its not helping me ..
i am taking alot of time reading explanations as .. even i knew concepts i feel like revising them ..(like Men2B/2A. or AICA, PICA webber etc.)
i am going bacck to kaplan notes for IM. atleast, Then MTb & UW..

so its subjective...
depends on person to person.. Try what suits you

^ Yes, vita that's correct. However, I don't want to waste time on something that will not help me with my exam significantly as I don't really have time. Just wanted to make sure how to study effectively and efficiently without compromising on my scores

I know many people personally who got amazing scores w/o kaplan series. But like you said it's different for everyone.
