Since I read that the question stems in the real deal are much longer.Q1 How do i have to manage my time? Generally i finished my UW with 3-4 mins left. I started UW in the 50's but now i'm in the mid 60's and even some 70's. How do u guys think I can prepare for that. I read MTB twice but didnt like much. I'm reading step up 2 usmle step 2 ck and i think its a very complete book.

NBME 4: 196( MTB 1x)
UWSA: 224( 85% UW)
NBME 7 : in the next 3 days

I'm aiming for a 220+. What do u think guys?

I recommend go to amazon, sign in to account and click on look inside " Most likely diagnosis step 2 CK" . you will be able to view 100+ pages of the book. you will see it is very helpful to not just know the concept but also to understand it as well

I would finish Step Up. I think it helped me a lot. MTb is a good book for internal medicine, but lacking all other subjects.

I'm arriving home right now from prometric. My date was a disaster. My day start at 3:58 am. I wake up with fever, myalgias and arthralgia. I guess is the Chikunkunya virus thats very popular here in the tropics right now. Later i went to my prometric center and when I'm about to go outside of the car... bammm my cellphone hit the floor. No cellphone for me . I register my entrance and prometric and the manager says that I cant get with me my scarf. The temperature wasnt bad in the center thanks God. Then I started my test. I started very slowly and consumed a lot of time in the first q's. But then I managed to do the rest "decently" in term of time. I did 3 straight blocks and then lunch. I was feeling physically horrible. Later I did two blocks. I founded them very hard. I lot of guesses. A lot of 50-50. I also struggled with time in those q's. In the last 3 blocks. I was mentally and physically exhausted. I have to read 1 sentence like 2-3 times.

In term of content it was a pretty balanced test. First q' was NNT I got 2 abstracts and 2 ads.(10 q's between them)
At the end I was brutally kicked in the ass. I think I failed that test. Pray for me I really need it

I heard a lot of people feel terrible after the exam, and they all fly by with high scores. Don't worry, you will be fine. trust your preparation.

Default pediculosis!

congrats on getting done, as FA says "celebrate regardless" so just enjoy your time.
actually, i have never seen anyone coming out of step2 saying that they aced it. everyone drains out as the block progresses and the last block becomes a headache for every one. I am sure you have done just fine.
I wrote my exam a week before you and finally learning to cope with the post-exam-syndrome.
I am sure your blunders are popping in your head all the time, to overcome this write down whatever incorrect answer you can think of and write it on the paper...count them and let it go to any count 9,10,11 whatever.....and just say that they may be experimental, or these 10 questions are like a drop in the ocean and then you ll feel good.....

and trust me the marking of step2 is not the same as step1, i cannot imagine the average of step2 10 points higher than step1 and definitely lower their percentile....do good luck, do pray for everyone and hope for the best
