Default When do you perform preop Coronary Angio

Hey everyone,

I've noticed in some questions that before some surgery, Coronary Angio is performed. Which surgeries, and what risk factors need to be present for it to be done.

Thanks

What I understand is that you perform angiography to evaluate the blockage, if it's triple vessel disease or two vessels with diabetes or left main coronary artery blocked, then you do CABG(surgery). Otherwise you just put in stents (angioplasty)
